In general, the dubs are worse. (Yes, I know the anime freaks think that anyway). I mean, the Naruto dubs were good - they'd been done well. But the Bleach dubs are something awful. I've never heard such bad voice-acting...
It's really bloody hard to pin down the first 50 episodes of a long-running series...
Bleach is damn good, Naruto is also damn good, but Death Note is amazing.
Naruto's new outfit in Shippuuden is pretty much the same, but with more black. Looks better though.
noobs suck so hard and don't listen when you try and tell them what they want to hear. They also repeat the same questions over and over...
Some fansubs are just better than others. I mean Lunar's fansub of Bleach uses such boring fonts on the karaoke... ;)

Lost Association Elections... damn illness had me under the weather, so less talking to people than probably should have occurred.
Lord Vel is in no uncertain terms alive! Muhahahah! No one really tried to kill him, though there is a vicious rumour going round that says I use poisons... Therefore, I shall survive until Rule 3! This being since I can't do CoG due to no money :( and will be monstering SP. While I might get a chance to play for a wee bit at SP, I don't want to have to mess around for an hour working with makeup because I'm not going to not do the full kit sorta thing...
I am actually still kicking despite not posting much... I got distracted by Naruto and Prison Break 2 and new Scrubs (season 6!) and Heroes and all teh pr0n and work and the elections and being ill...
Suppose I should probably figure out what I have to do coursework-wise now... and get ahold of my brooding pictures...

Well the major things that come to mind...
- lost my titanium ring (the 18th birthday present from my Gran) a couple of weeks ago
- got a huge fecking dry-burn on the back of my hand
- managed to slice open my hand on a fry-basket at work
- and on cardboard. twice, on the same finger.
- lost my last remaining pendant round neck... :(
- societies owe me money
- fecking coursework
- haven't been to cinema much
+ might not be single. maybe. we're not sure.
+ got paid double what I was expecting - this would be due to working many many shifts...
+ there was pirates and ninjas night! and free alcohol!
+ there were people and things that I saw for the first time in ages
+ there was ascension and it was good
+ there was the wangling of me getting a free GLAM membership :)
+ going for President again!
+ I sold half the party's souls!
+ laptop is back!

I plotted a massive zombie assault against the NEM.
I started the massive zombie assault and then went and flailed at my Concurrent Systems exam. I followed this by taking out exam frustrations on each and every player than fell into the path of my zombies :D Nothing like kicking ass and not bothering with names to destress and relax :D
Did much better at Database Systems, then spent the day doing sweet eff-all followed my roleplaying till half 11. :D
Slept in, woke up an hour before the exam and flailed at Languages and Definitions as well. Went and modded my CCS coursework a bit, then handed in a copy of the code and nothing else. Went home, grabbed
scellanis and went to see Flushed Away and The Holiday, both of which are really good.Thought I majorly slept in, turned out I misread the clock. Played Windwaker for a while then off to Glasgow for Dragonforce! The first support band were ok, the second good and Dragonforce left me deaf and with a mobile full of videos.
Woulda gone to the pub-meet, but to be honest, couldn't be arsed. (sorry guys) Plus we had return train tickets and the last one was at 11:30...

PvP have just announced their new animated series (which'll be so much better than CAD's one since it has a dedicated in-house animation team and voice actors, etc) and what are the comments?
They're generally:
a) being picky about the sample quality
b) complaining about the price
c) complaining about having to use Paypal
d) complaining that Scott is selling out
e) complaining about Scott doing the same thing as Tim
f) ranting about the above 5
g) quietly supporting Scott
h) dissing the CAD animated series
i) dissing BFE, the guys making it
j) complaining about each other
k) complaining about something else
one guy said that since "no one outside the US used Paypal" he wanted an alternate means of payment. someone obviously never used eBay... or anything else...
half of them seem to think that the CAD animated series died as well. right... so these episodes I get every month don't mean anything then...?

Now this annoys me for several reasons.
1. I wasn't told this until I went in today to find out next week's shifts!
2. I'd been told I had this week off due to needing to train other staff
3. No one bothered to tell me until I went in, despite them having my mobile number.
4. The piece of paper I filled in when I started said that I couldn't start until 3 on Fridays.
5. I could have used the money had I known.
6. I asked the manager last week if it was right I didn't have any shifts and he said it was.
Apparently I'm working 11-7 tomorrow, so day at cinema has been cancelled for me. Going to
protocol_rain's birthday party might still be doable.Oh and I've also been put down for next Wednesday. It took me a while to go "wait..." then I remembered I'd asked for next Wednesday off due to it being, I dunno, my birthday... That should be getting fixed.
So tomorrow, I'll be leaving notes telling them when I want off with reasons like "I won't be in Edinburgh". See if that works...

On the upside, went to see The Santa Clause 3 and Pan's Labyrinth. SC3 was good, a bit long to get going and a bit quick to finish, I felt, but good. Pan's Labyrinth is really good though. Really really good. Dark fantasy and horror intertwined. :D
Also, I now have Dark Crusade, complete with garishly pink Necrons :D

I wish I knew...
I got my job as a McSlave and worked my first few shifts. I'm actually kinda enjoying it, once I'm past the feeling lost at the beginning part.
I've played 40k for the first time and didn't do that badly :D I need to work on my army...
I have done horrible horrible things that Kieran will kill me for. I'm glad I'm not playing in anything he's runn- ... bugger...
On the other hand, goblinising songs is a good way to win battles and works for certain songs. Like Blur - Parklife...
More recently, Anthony (fresher winolj) enjoyed lubing up my weapon in a small room at Gamers. We did make sure to lube the protection as well!
I sang "All the Goblins" at SOS. :D
Between 7 of us, we consumed about 50 jellies. 15 were mine :D
And there was a very loud goblin ninja in white clothes covered in sticky UV-reactive stuff running around in the dark while people discharged their weapons in his direction.
I covered Ben in my sticky stuff as well. Perhaps Dalry Rd wasn't the best place to do it, but it seemed like a good idea at the time...
